CORPUS CHRISTI（泊）「コーパスバーガー」
那覇市泊に今月7日オープンしたCORPUS CHRISTI（コーパスクリスティ）。
名前の由来はテキサス州南部の都市名だ。
ウエスタンムード漂う店内。天井が高く開放的だ。
店内では西部劇のビデオが流れていた。オーナーさんも、もちろんカウボーイハット。
入口はもちろんこれ。この名称をネットで調べたら、ウエスタンドアだそうだ。そのまま！
木製のメニューは手書き。ステーキとハンバーガーがメインのようだ。
これが、コーパスバーガー（500円）。ランチタイムはコーヒーとアイスがついて550円だ。
アボカドとオニオンリングが特徴。
パテは15mm厚で柔らかい。
バーガーのサイズは直径120mm、高さも120mmでボリューム満点だ。
いただきます。うまいぞ。
大きな具を包み込むようにバンズは柔らかく、裏にバターが塗られている。アボカドはもちろんだが、パテも、そして驚くことにオニオンリングも柔らかく、簡単に噛みきれるのには驚いた。
調味料がかかっていないので、お好みでテーブルのケチャップとマスタードが使えるのもうれしい。もちろん私は調味料なしでいただいたが、あっさりしていて女性にも支持されそうな味だ。
おかげで両手もほとんど汚れない。
お店は少し目立たないところにあり、駐車場もないのが残念だが、今後が期待できるお店だ。
オーナーの方もハンバーガーに力を入れているそうで、これからも試行錯誤を続けて、いいバーガーを作り出したいとのこと。
お店のコンセプトもおもしろく、また訪れたいと思う。

The owners of the Corpus Christi Texas restaurant is my wife's sister and brother in law; Kono and Yoshi.
I hope so much, that the restaurant is a big success, and that every body enjoys the food. The food is exactly like the food that you can buy in a restaurant in Corpus Christi, Texas. The inside of the restaurant looks just like a restaurant and bar here in Corpus Christi, Texas. Corpus Christi, Texas is my home town. I think that it is wonderful to have a nice restaurant on Okinawa, that has the same name as this beautiful city. In side of the restaurant is very beautiful and comfortable.
